I love Polyvore. Polyvore is a website where you can search through thousands of items and put together the most amazing outfits. I love that I can pair and Alexander McQueen skirt with a General Pants Co cardigan. I love that there are about 600 pairs of black boots to choose from. I love that it is FREE! My window shopping dreams come true on Polyvore!
A little while ago, I put together a post about how to wear brown boots with a black dress, it has been ever so popular! So, when CraftyMummy told me that she was not sure how to wear her lovely new black knee high boots, I thought I could help – with polyvore of course!
Below are some ideas that I have put together. I think that black boots are made for adventure, so I have given each outfit an ‘adventurous’ name. I have also added a hat for each outfit, I think hats are terribly underused… a real shame, because there are some darn cute ones out there!

There are so many styles of black boots around this season, there doesn’t seem to be a wrong type to wear! I think paired with a great dress and a well fitting coat you can’t go wrong. Nor can you go wrong with well fitting jeans or jodphurs and a tunic type of top. You can also be adventurous and choose a flirty skirt paired with a cardigan and some killer tights.
As always {I need to remind myself of this at the mo} accessories can really lift an outfit. Scarves are so very ‘in’ and you can wear them with jeans and coats and dresses… they add colour, texture and can keep out that cool winter air.
So… get those black boots out and think of an adventure you can take them on…
Which adventurous outfit did you like the best?
I will probably needing this outfit during rainy and winter. Well, the sunglasses and hats look fab and perfect to match on my spring outfit. Cool combinations by the way.
