For those of you who follow me on Instagram, you would know that I like to do a spot of drawing… I also love to be part of fatmumslim‘s photoaday challenge. For the past few months, I have been combining the these two things and have been DRAWING the photo a day challenge pictures… Here are a few of my pictures…
I have been experimenting with cut-outs and black and white photography this month. Cute hey?
Well… so many people love these pictures over on Instagram, and a few people have asked to join along, which is very cool. I have taken this a step further and have come up with my own little drawing a day challenge.
The first one is called, “Draw Me September” with the hashtag #drawmeseptember…
Here is the list…
The rules are as follows:
1) Follow me on Instagram {bbeingcool} and then @bbeingcool the pics so that I can like them {and follow you back!}
2) Use the hashtag #drawmeseptember when putting photos on Instagram and/or Twitter
3) Do as many or as few of the prompts as you like throughout the month, but no more than one entry per challenge prompt
4) Love it and share it around!
That is it…. simple!
Here are some ideas to get you going:
- draw your pics on sticky notes
- use stick figures, don’t worry about too much detail
- add some cut out elements
- use colour
- draw with your children
- draw them on the mirror after your shower
- just be creative!

Haha – I do like writing… Don’t do enough of it anymore, as my teaching is all done through powerpoint. My students love it when I write them notes, they love my writing too! I should get my own font… Hmmm… now there is an idea!
