This is my first giveaway!
Nothing signals Spring like flowers in full bloom and butterflies flitting from flower to flower. Anita from Flights of Fancy is giving away one of these beautiful butterfly wing pendants. One is a Sunset Moth wing set in brass and the other is a Ulysses Butterfly wing set in silver-plate. Measuring one inch across, the pendant will come in a black velvet gift bag with a species name card. The winner of the giveaway gets to choose ONE of these!
I have known Anita for a really long time and it has been amazing to watch her journey from stay at home mum to jewellery maker. Very inspiring! Anita can be found at Flights of Fancy… She makes a lot of gorgeous things: some of my favourites are her amazingly intricate beaded necklaces and Mr Cool loves his steam punk cufflinks. Anita’s specialty is her real insect jewellery, all the butterflies used in her jewellery are ethically obtained from fully licenced butterfly farms in Australia and Internationally. Aren’t they beautiful!?

There is a zombie walk coming up in Perth soon and I am going to go as a zombie hippy… a butterfly pendant plus the feathers in my hair and a crazy amount of beads and peace symbols and copious amounts of fake blood would go beautifully together
I wouldn’t wear it, I would let my daughter wear it as she imagines she is a butterfly princess floating through the stars and around the moon.

Butterflies are very special to me for many different reasons. I would wear this pendant every day with anything and everything in my wardrobe. Blue is one of my favourite colours and I wear a lot of it. I’d love the silver setting with the Ulysses Butterfly wing to match the earrings I already have from Anita.

I would wear my butterfly pendant with a princess dress to the butterfly ball!
(As well as all the time with anything to anywhere!)
If I were fortunate enough to win one I would give it to my best friend for Christmas.
The blue one would look beautiful on her, and I think she’d wear it everywhere! 
I would wear the Ulysses in silver with everything I could, to show off the natural beauty of such a marvellous creature. With my bright red hair, it would go brilliantly… (but I could be just a little bit biased about that…)
They are so cool (especially the silver and blue one!) I’d wear it everywhere! And I’d put my daughter’s fairy wings on and pretend I was a big butterfly – my 5-yr-old daughter would get a big kick out of that!
I would wear the brass pendant to work(a theme park) to show off a beautiful peice. I would of course wear my uniform which is a blue shirt and cargos.

I would choose “the sunset moth wing” pendant in brass surrounds so I could “fly” out of my usual comfort zone of Blue and black tones that I usually stick with.

This pendant is gorgeous, I would wear it with my printed dress while walking along the beach.
I would wear the pendant everywhere but particularly I would like to wear it to the cemetery to visit a special friend as butterflies are a great symbol of re-birth and hope.
