I am into writing lists at the moment…
Today’s list is made up of reasons I am thankful for the lovely friends I have…
- Great friends turn up with good cheese (and beer)
- Great friends make you geeky spreadsheets
- Great friends leave flowers and cards for when you arrive at THEIR house to stay when they are not home
- Great friends swap life stories and their chips
- Great friends are understanding of me being rubbish at organising things
- Great friends text at midnight because they remembered something funny
- Great friends understand the need for coffee
I could go on and on… But I wonder what qualities YOUR friends have that you are thankful for?
This post was written on an iPad – life is too short fot me to work out how to format just right now. Man, what a painful device!!

I’m thankful for friends who it doesn’t matter how long it’s been since we saw each other or spoke to each other, we pick up right where we left off as if a day hasn’t gone by.
I’m thankful for friends who ask me how I really am, and don’t want the polite answer.

Great friends who know when they don’t need to say anything because you know they understand. And hugs of course when they are needed.
Great friends check in with you when they know things have been rough.
Great friends never complain about my constant lateness. Sounds like you are very blessed with some beautiful people in your life. Fairy wishes and butterfly kisses to you all

Awesome list B. Great friends also know from just the tiniest inflection in your voice when things aren’t all hunky dory x

My bestest friend in the whole world is my comrade-in-arms. She is doing the exact same parenting thing as me (our kids are the same ages, but a few weeks apart) and she is just everything good! She brings me food when things are crap, she makes me laugh, and she understands. I am so grateful to God for her.

Love this!
Great friends know when you are lying when you say “I’m fine.”
Great friends know what to say, even if it is “I don’t know what to say.”
I have never blogged from the iPad, but have heard that it is painful!

I have once blogged from the iPad but I don’t have enough of a deathwish to try it again!
Good friends will tell you that you need to pluck that hair off your chinny chin chin and despite that, love you just the way you are! x
