Life has felt crazy busy lately, and really intense, so thinking of lovely meaty and deep things to write has become virtually impossible…
I have had such a great response to last week’s list of random thankfulness, that I thought I would write up another randomy kind of list. After all, randomy is such a cool way to be sometimes.
This week I am thankful for:
- freshly painted ceilings
- people watching at the airport
- grandparents
- children having sleepovers
- lots of time with Mr Cool
- friends who know that they can ask for big things
- long phone calls with my brother
- wonton soup
- having my neice come and play and seeing two little girls have so much fun
- having coffee with some of my favourite people in the world
- hoses on trampolines
- crisp dry towels
- the smell of bushfires
- a great group of blogging buddies who challenge and encourage and inspire me pretty much every day
- having a lunch date with my mum
- for a gorgeous Miss Z who tells me she thinks I am pretty and who also knows which shoes look better with my dress
- for a delightful Miss A who has lost teeth and is reading ‘Charlie & The Chocolate Factory’ – where did my baby go?
- for a baby boy who can hear a airplane from a mile away and run outside to see it
- for futures and pasts and presents and life and love and living
I have so much to be thankful for….

My random thankful would be going to family night last night and having my sisters play with Mia for a bit and being able to read the first few chapters of my new book that I have been waiting for 2 years to be released! I like the smell of bus hfires too.

I am thankful for my washing machine making a ‘funny’ noise prior to overflowing so I now know to turn the water off! I am thankful for my clever husband who has made numerous thriving vegie gardens – two of which I plan to raid for tonight’s dinner so I can have fresh picked carrots, snow peas, spinach and silverbeet. I am thankful for Miss S’s little scrapes on the arm after falling off her tricycle because it looked like it was going to be far worse than that! And finally, I am thankful for speech therapy groups to help little Miss S with her ‘l’ sound because telling me that she loves clocks at the top of her lungs in Target WITHOUT the ‘l’ sound was so totally embarrassing!
I LOVE random lists of thankfulness. They work s well for me. I know exactly how you feel. I wasn’t even going to post anything today but then after a few FB entries that I read, I came up with a post in the last 15 mins before leaving work !!
