Oh Sundays… I love you. I love having no set agenda. I love seeing people. I love having plans for fun. I like having no plans. I like changing plans mid-way through the first plan. Oh… anyway you slice it, I love Sundays.
But, when the shadows start getting longer and the crickets start their swan song, that gloomy feeling of ‘Imminent Monday-itis’ starts to kick in. And then, from the luxury of the couch you look around you and see that the house has been ransacked by mysterious beings and your will to live fades. Sigh… Please tell me I am not alone in this!
There is that moment when you think, ‘I will clean up tomorrow’. But – be warned. With the dawning of a new day, especially a MONDAY, this is risky thinking. I have decided that come 4pm on a Sunday, I have a little plan to get my week off to a good start. It isn’t too much, but I have found that it really helps to get up on a Monday and be able to tackle the NEW week rather than trying to wade through last week’s list.
This are the things we try to get done on a Sunday night {having said that, if you were ever to invite us along for something fun on a Sunday night, we would be more than happy to abandon this list!

I iron five business shirts while my gorgeous wife checks her bog stats….
I work full time, so I need to be organised on the weekends. Saturdays are for renovating, cleaning and doing the washing. Sundays are for food shopping and making sure we are organised. There’s no better feeling than having a Sunday afternoon Happy Hour in the sun knowing you’re all set for the week ahead. Great list, B!
