Life: Randomly Thankful on Thursday #5

I just looked at my calendar… 15th of November, where has my year gone?

I am tired and even more tired thinking of all the things I have to do over the next few days… But, I will get through and I will sleep on Wednesday of next week. Hopefully!

Here is my list of random things I am thankful for this week…

  • My eldest daughter was awarded the highest academic award for her grade. So proud. She is such a bright spark {I just wish she could remember to put her shoes away in the drawer}
  • BabyCool is being ULTRA sweet at the moment, he is saying so many words, yesterday he said ‘Princess’ and ‘Blue’.
  • Miss Z is delightful, although I must admit that she really knows how to peel my paint. Sigh.
  • The Solar Eclipse yesterday was pretty cool, imagine what it was like a thousand years ago before tv and other media telling you it was coming, it would have been freaky!
  • I have opportunities to do some very cool things next year, in both my teaching life and my life life.
  • ‘My’ Year 6 class were amazeballs at Awards Night. They all looked fab, sounded great and were just so grown up!
  • Things are brewing for a fun and busy weekend, I like that
  • Tonight I am going to a school formal. I am going as ‘The Wife of A Teacher’ so the expectations of me are to chat and eat and chat some more! Yay!
  • Tomorrow night I get to see my peeps. Yay! Girls night out! {I hope I can stay awake!}
  • I am thankful for sunshine and green grass and jacaranda trees… the world is a beautiful place.
  • I am sooooo looking forward to the holidays, we are all cooking some plans to have lots of fun and lots of resting!

Have a good Thursday everyone!
